Rating Your Sexual Experiences, And Happiness

There is a song that comes to mind from a song in the movie Grease that says "there are worse things that I could do, than have a boy or two"! Of course everyone is waking up this morning to the Duke University sex scandal, related to the thesis this girl wrote about her sexual encounters while at Duke. She graduated this year so the scandal comes out after graduation.

I believe involved are 10 to 12 men. I actually did not pay too much attention unless they said 100. In the gay community 10-12 men can be a one night sexual encounter. Men, gay or straight are so much different then women. We only brag when we hit hundreds! What the hell are 10-12 men in four years? Of course there are exceptions, some men are not as sexual addicted as others and may have 10-12 in one year. But four, well unless you married and/or in a committed relationship, I doubt, even then you would with less than a dozen in four years.

Of course this is all in a colorful manner. Today any sex becomes scandals. From a biblical perspective everyone was screwing everyone. Lot had sex with his daughters. Solomon had 1000 wife’s (and assuming he was not gay, that is amazing) and almost every conqueror had women and men on the side for as some histories document, women were for bearing children and men lovers were for that "love". One has only to see Brad Pitt in "Alexander".

I have never rated my sexual experiences, but I can count in one hand the good experiences I have had and let’s say there has been many, something I am not proud of but neither am I apologetic. You see way before I ever knew my family says I was a sexual beast. Actually my mom and aunt say they noticed it at 5 years old. To me making out with another boy was natural until I was told it was not. I never thought of who was better and by age 14 I had already gone through a dozen or so. That's when I decided to be religious and try the heterosexual preferred method and in one way to live my dreams.

I never rated sex before marriage or after! To me sex was fun something to enjoy with your friends! It's like watching a movie having dinner! It just happens. There is no need to neither hunt for it nor rate it. Sexual satisfactions vary from person to person. What is good for you may not be the same for someone else? Maybe this explains why Solomon needed a thousand, he never found the right person that was the other part of sexual satisfaction.

Finding a perfect sexual partner is like finding true love or being in love. It's rare and in the meantime we keep pursing it gowing through hundreds and maybe, just maybe you will find one that can fulfill both roles of a partner in life and unbelievable sex. A rating of 10 in bed may be a 1 as far as having the qualities for a partner.
