Working with the government as an outside, good and bad!

As most of you know I supported the government both the FAA and Military for a number of years and even had an opportunity to support state government in Washington State. Lets just say there are challenges there. Some of which can only be corrected if there is a total collapse of the system which I strongly believed should of happened when George Bush was president.

But since we can't change the past lets discuss the what works post disability! Yes I am now disabled and actually up at this time bogging to keep my mind occupied so I don't focus on the intensive pain on my right leg. We do;t have an analysts for this because you see getting good doctors who take Medicaid is a challenge.

Most who take Medicaid are of Hindu,India background and I have no issues with this except I insist they can communicate with me. I have an excellent Indian Kidney doctor (Dr Reddy) but I have found the opposite is true for other doctors I need. It's a similar situation in Miami with Latins.

That being said I recently had to deal with Medicare for Dad and found the experience to be one I did not expect. They were kind, considerate and actually willing to help and guide me to make sure he gets the health care he needs to get better and go home. I was amazed and surprised that I actually had such a good experience dealing with a government worker.

I had a similar experience with my disability application process and I hear being approved in 90 days is a record. At a time when I am very strongly against big government and sometimes what seems and actually is lots of waste in government, I want to tell you all there are some that care and still take their jobs seriously and address citizens needs.

I thank those who take this approach when working for our federal government.

Move or not move! Rob's dream~

As I await my Wrangler Jeep from Jersey so I can act like I am 18 again and as we just planted roots in Bayonet Point (a classy name for Hudson) we are already wondering where to next!

There is Roberts dream and there is reality. I think both can exist, it's a matter of finding how and when.

My stepdad has taken a turn for the worse and that needs to iron itself out, Then there is my Mom in her late 70's that we still need to assist as much as possible. There is my sister and her health issues and then there are my medical needs. All these make Rob's dream difficult to fulfill!

But if the creator is watching and I believe I have been watched over for many years and so I am confident that if the wish is to live in Key West as Rob desires then it will happen. I have to say, I could walk around slowly and keep myself occupied with all the bars. But then again I rarely drink anymore.

I could keep myself occupied with all the hotties either living or visiting there and dam we could go to all those parties once we network with the community.

For now we are here, Rob has finally a nice Job and all is good. But don't be surprised if one day my blog is going to you all fro, Key West. After all I have lived my dreams and it's time for Rob to live his!

To pad or not to pad!

Rob and I have two very different views on these new laptop replacements the PADS! Yes I believe the computer will cease to exist and either phones or PADS will become the future.

It's just a matter of time! But the issue is very simple yet complex!

You see I like a keyboard! Yes, I had the Iphone and that was not good for me though Ron liked it. Call it the clean factor, but I spent more time cleaning the screen than I did using the phone. Then there are these large fingers and I could not type for shit.

So I see the writing in the wall but I hope designers think of people like me and have a sliding qwery board so people like me can type and not dirty the screen.

So changes are Rob will PAD soon but I for one am looking at a new laptop!
